Admittedly, I have never, ever, ever had a strong grasp of meter, but after having spend the weekend attempting to write one sonnet, I can honestly say that prose is far superior to poetry. This is my very ragged attempt to portray the battle between good and evil, while using iambic pentameter. If you like it, that's wonderful. If you don't...You'd better like it. ...why the thought of dying frightens people so thoroughly. Actually, let me correct that: Why does the thought of non-existence frighten people? I say people because honestly, not existing isn't particularly terrifying for me. I certainly don't want to die anytime soon, but I am by no means afraid of the prospect. I've discussed it with a handful of friends- those who could bear to carry on a challenging conversation. Eventually, such conversations reach a point where I learn what I believe to be the true motivating factor for religion, that being a simply and very understandable statement, "It scares me to think that when I die everything
